Who We Are
Daniel Applegate, LCPC
As a Therapist, I collaborate closely with clients to foster mental health, self-acceptance, and personal growth. If life's demands, whether from family, friends, or work, are leaving you overwhelmed and seeking a healthier balance, we can work together to chart a new direction. Our journey will involve uncovering your unique skill set to navigate the emotional challenges of modern life. Together, we'll create space for your needs and wants, overcoming any obstacles hindering your path. Furthermore, my expertise extends to assisting medical professionals in managing the mental toll associated with licensure board investigations.
With a profound passion, I extend my heartfelt support to law enforcement, first responders, and military personnel (active/retired). Yet, I'm equally committed to aiding anyone on their journey to a better life, tailored to their unique aspirations. Moreover, I approach with deep empathy those who have experienced the profound loss of a pregnancy.
I aim to assist you in reclaiming a stronger sense of well-being. Through collaboration, we'll devise practical strategies to confront personal challenges, allowing you to move past them, address the past, and find solace in the present.
Emily Ballew, LPC
Do you find yourself stuck in patterns of people-pleasing, addictive or self-destructive behaviors, or negative thought loops? Struggle with feeling hopeless, worthless, furious, anxious, or just numb? Do you ever wonder WHY you feel the way that you feel? Together we can explore how your past informs your present, how your nervous system has been primed to react, and the messages that operate beneath the surface. I seek to help my clients feel deeply understood and worthy, but don't take myself too seriously and am well-acquainted with the funny side of life.
I endeavor to create a safe emotional space for clients to process negative feelings and past trauma, address root causes of their issues, and develop coping mechanisms and tools to feel well. My counseling style is grounded in compassion, nonjudgment, and validation while also challenging you to grow, develop, and heal.
A better life with more emotional stability, confidence, and self-esteem is possible. I would love to be a part of your healing journey! Please reach out via email or phone to set up an initial consultation or appointment! All appointments will be virtual.
